professionals and effective involvement of patients in their care.
We Recognize that Patient Safety is a universal health primacy, the World Health Assembly (WHA) adopted a resolution on Patient Safety which endorsed the establishment of World Patient Safety Day to be observed annually by Member States on 17 September. Hence we are more focused to promote patient safety by public awareness and engagement, improving global appreciation and working towards global harmony and accomplishment.
Dr. Ziauddin Hospital aims at providing global leadership and
fostering collaboration between healthcare centers and relevant stakeholders as
this is the key concept of patient safety development. Setting global
priorities for action and developing guidelines and tools for patient safety is
another aspect of enhancing patient and his family’s engagement for safer

We are more sensitive towards correctly identify patients throughout every stage of diagnosis and treatment to avoid medicine errors.
Goal 2: Improve and effective communication among
caregivers
Regulation of critical test results are directed to the correct
party in a timely manner by effective EMR management.
Goal 3: Improve the safety of using medications
Our staff id obligated to label all medications, medication containers, and other solutions to avoid mix-ups that can lead to ultimately harm a patient. We take special care when treating a patient who is using anticoagulation therapy. We always maintain and communicate accurate patient information concerning their prescriptions to another staff member, the patient, and any other caregivers. We make sure to compare any new prescriptions with the medications they are already using.
Goal 4: Reduce the risk of hospital-acquired
infections
We are much focused on hand hygiene and effective ways in which they can stop the spread of healthcare-associated infections (HAIs). Just washing your hands can make an enormous difference in patient outcomes and in reducing the risk of HAIs.
Goal 5: Pinpoint patient safety risks
We also concern about the patient mental health such as depression, psychosis, suicidal attitude to avoid safety hazards that can be occur due to mental health negligence.
